Calcified pipes cause water pressure to diminish, often resulting in a reddish discoloration of the water. A pipe line blocking can result.

Clogged aerators are a sure sign of lime and rust deposits.

Calcified heating coils cause longer heating times for water and thus higher energy loss. 3 mm of scale costs 10% more energy.

With Kalk Max the new pipe system is protected from scale and rust. Lime deposits already in the pipe system can gradually be reduced.

Kalk Max is not dependent on water quality or flow capacity! Alternating impulses are capacitively transferred to the water in a high Hz range via the winding attached to the pipe. This causes slight amounts of carbon dioxide to be released from the calcium bicarbonate, which leads to the formation of minimal crystal nuclei/seed crystals.
All ensuing crystal formation follows this pattern – especially when the water is being heated – so that any scale crystals contained in the water no longer possess any adhesive capacity; the crystals remain floating in the water and are washed out with it.
